We work alongside your oncology team to provide coordinated, evidence-informed guidance that focuses on practical strategies for managing symptoms, building resilience and supporting your wellbeing. Through Integrative GP-led care, symptom support, nutrition and exercise guidance, mind-body strategies and personalised advice, we aim to help you navigate treatment and recovery with clarity, confidence and compassion.

This service is suitable for:

- people newly diagnosed who want practical guidance on next steps and lifestyle support.

- those currently undergoing treatment (surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy) needing help with symptoms, resilience and recovery.

- survivors seeking long-term health optimisation, late-effect monitoring and return-to-life planning.

How we support you across the cancer journey

1) At diagnosis

2) During treatment

We help you manage symptoms such as:

GP-led integrative cancer care: coordination, symptom support, safe recommendations and personalised plans.

Nutrition support:

Exercise and movement:

Pain management & functional strategies

Lymphoedema management:

Our accredited lymphoedema practitioner provides assessment, education and tailored management plans. A referral is required for lymphoedema appointments.

Medication and supplement review:

- interaction and safety checks

- advice on stopping or adjusting supplements when needed.

Your first visit: what to expect

1) pre-consultation questionnaire

2) review of your medical and integrative history, treatments, priorities and goals

3) a supportive, unrushed discussion

4) optional communications with your oncology team or regular GP.

Please bring:

-medication and supplement list

-treatment schedule (if available)

-any important letters or reports.

Safety & evidence

We do not replace your oncology care, we support it.

All recommendations are checked for interactions and safety.

We provide evidence-informed options and explain where evidence in emerging.

Your priorities guide your care plan.

Bookings & referrals

You do not need a referral to book with our Integrative GPs, although referrals from you oncologist or GP are welcome and help coordination.

A referral is required for lymphoedema appointments.

Telehealth options may be available for suitable appointments.

Fees & rebates

Fees vary by practitioner and appointment length.

Medicare or private health rebates may apply for eligible services.

FAQs

Will integrative care interfere wit my cancer treatment?

Safety is our first priority. We check for drug-supplement and treatment interactions and only recommend approaches that are safe alongside your plan.

Can you advise on supplements?

Yes. Ater reviewing your treatments and potential interactions. Sometimes we recommend stopping or delaying certain products during active treatment.

Is this alternative medicine?

No. We provide supportive care that compliments your oncology plan.

Do you offer group programs?

From time to time awe run small group education and balance & strength sessions. Ask our Patient Advocate about current programs and waitlist.

I'm fatigued - can you help me start safely?

Yes. We pace your plan, beginning with short, achievable steps and gradual progression to avoid post-exertional crashes.
