Integrative Medicine

A More Connected Approach to Your Health

Integrative GP appointments offer space to discuss your health concerns more fully and explore how different factors may be contributing. With medical, lifestyle and supportive care options available in one place, our GPs work with you to determine your next steps in a clear, collaborative way.

New patients are welcome.

What Integrative Medicine means at our clinic

A broader view of health

Our Integrative GPs look at your health through multiple lenses - medical history, symptoms, lifestyle habits, stress, sleep, nutrition and other relevant factors - to better understand your overall wellbeing.

Evidence-informed, GP led care

Your GP uses established medical evidence, clinical judgement and shared decision-making to guide your care. Where suitable, they may discuss supportive care approaches such as nutrition, mind-body strategies or other lifestyle-based therapies.

Time to discuss your concerns in detail

Integrative appointments allow space for deeper conversation. Many patients book these consultations when they want more time with a GP or feel their health concerns need a more comprehensive review.

Support across areas of health

Integrative Medicine can be helpful for people seeking support for:

-chronic disease management

-complex or long-standing health outcomes

-interconnected symptoms

-preventative and lifestyle-focused care

-navigating multiple health disciplines

How our Integrative GPs work with you

Understanding your health story: Your GP will explore your concerns, overall health, contributing factors and priorities.

Using both medical and lifestyle-based tools: Care may include standard medical investigations and treatments, combined with lifestyle-focused guidance or supportive care options where appropriate.

Creating a clear, practical plan: Your GP will outline next steps tailored to your situation. This may involve treatment, behavioural strategies, lifestyle modifications or referrals within our multidisciplinary team.

Coordinating your care: With your consent, your GP may collaborate with other practitioners in our clinic - such as Psychology, Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine or Massage - when this supports continuity of care.

Is an Integrative GP the right starting point?

If you're unsure which clinician to see first, an Integrative GP appointment is often the best place to begin. They can take the time to understand your goals and help you navigate which practitioners or services may be suitable for your care.
